I bought the Nike version with the Apple Watch Series 3 as it had some extra things that the other versions didn't get.

So how is the situation with the Series 6? Any reason to pick the Nike version over the others?

Apart from additional Nike watch faces and different bands all the same

I just traded-up my series 3 Nike for a series 6 Nike. I agree nothing much differentiates the Nike version from the regular version, but I have found the Nike bands to be the best for me. Over the years of Apple Watch ownership (4 models), I've had a couple of non-Nike models and I ended-up using Nike-style bands on those too. I think the holes make a big difference if you use your watch for exercise.

On the other hand, I have never really used the Nike running app, preferring Strava or even the stock workout app.

I’ve gone Nike for the first time.
apart from the faces and band it’s the same as every other Apple Watch I’ve owned (but obviously a series 6 now).

Nike bands are the best, as Apple says and I agree with this these Nike editions are “Designed for athletes by Apple and Nike” if you run a lot and workout these bands are breathable and very very comfortable which is a bonus if your wrist sweat lots. Another than that like others said extra Nike faces and pre installed Nike Run Club app.

I've had Nike watches since they first came out, and I find I've become quite attached to the Nike faces. I'm tempted by the new blue S6, but I quite like the new Nike Compact face that just got released in Watch OS 7.

What many, but not all, Nike faces do is have a complication to the Nike running app built into the watch face. This basically gives you an extra complication slot if you use the Nike running app, and want a watch face with that complication. So the Compact face has three complications, but with the Nike Compact face, tapping the clock takes you to the Nike app. So with the regular Compact face, you can add Nike app plus 2 other complications, but with the Nike Compact face, you have Nike app plus 3 other complications.
