The S5 Nike exterior black box packaging has just the Apple logo and Swoosh.

Why do earlier models have the swoosh with the plus (+) symbol.?
Were some Nike features eliminated between models?

Nike’s Apple Watch integration used to be referred to as Nike plus. And they used the + sign to indicate that. ( it goes all the way back to 2006ish and stood for Nike + iPod) At some point, it was renamed to Nike run club. And I believe that is when they dropped the + from the packaging. There haven’t been any features removed from the Apple Watch corresponding to the name change.

There were some changes (removal of the website, etc) but none of those were related to features offered on the watch.

Thanks.
Yes, I recall that whole Nike+ module thing in the shoe. But I thought they got rid of that eons ago.

It believe even as recent as the AW4 that the + symbol was still present on the box. Surely the Nike Run club existed long before that no? Maybe I just have my timelines all mixed up.
Regardless, no major changes on the watch.

They did phase out the show pod thing years ago but kept the name until 2016 (IIRC). Not sure why the later watches didn’t reflect the change but there have definitely not been any watch feature reductions due to the new name.
