iPod touch Nike+??

Does anyone know if it works? I saw one report and haven't heard anything since.
 
Don't believe it does. Haven't heard any updates that it does since. Note that I may be wrong.
 
I was also looking forward to this, but there has been no further mention of it since the update has been released.
 
This is where I was getting my high hopes from but I haven't heard a peep since.

Oh and yes I know those are for the iPhone not the Touch.
 
This would be a great addition to the iPhone. I used my Nike+ with my original Nano, and then stopped when I upgraded to an iPhone. I never walk/run without my phone, so using it with my iPhone would be perfect!
 
same here, a lot of people complain about the iPhone being too heavy or whatver, well in my case, it means i run with a nano and an iphone, so if i could cut the nano that'd be great cause i wont cut my phone from my run...:p
 
Since I hadn't heard someone specifically say they plugged the receiver in and it didn't work I tried it myself today and I got a message saying "this accessory is not supported by this iPod." So it definitely doesn't work yet in case anyone wanted a concrete answer and didn't get one.

yeah i tried it in my iphone as well, same result
 
It's just quite annoying seeing that it wouldn't be so hard to implement. I'd say it will be released as an app in the app store
 
I shot Nike an email about this as well but they never got back to me. I ENT thinkbthey will either that was over a week ago now.
 
This would be a nice, if not logical addition to the Touch. I'm sure the accel. has to add some Nike+ functionality!
