Yeah, that is extremely lame. Is there anything that makes the 3G not capable to run the Nike+ software? Or is this just another one of Apple's brilliant money making schemes to get users to upgrade???

I'll probably buy one for the Nike+ support... then I could trash my Nano.

the 3g doesn't have the nike+ hardware in it, the 3gs does.

well there should be support for this dock connector "dongle" (doesn't work yet though)

the extra Gb of storage and nike+ are the sole reason of my upgrading asap. then I can get rid of my nano and my iPod video for the car....aweeesssome
