Nikon 80-200 ED 2.8D

I recently purchased this lens thinking that it was the slightly newer AF-D version. ;(

How much is this lens actually worth considering it is in excellent condition?
I paid $535

well it is worth around that price I would have guessed. Considering that Adorama has the newer one listed at around 1000 USD used you are ok in the price bracket. The only thing I have noticed with those push-pulls is that they seem to sell slower nowadays.

Do you mean you thought it was the AF-S version? If it's the 2.8D it is the AF-D version. We're talking about the two-ring one, yeah?

I think it's the push-pull one touch zoom in this case. He wanted the Af-D version but for the AF ED instead.... might have to check next time what you buy

I bought the lens to shoot Homecoming with and I intended to sell again after I finished with my fun.

Hopefully Ill be able to get 530 out of it again.
