nikon capture nx update; won't accept product key #

I have a program; nikon capture nx.
Does not work w/os lion.
However i now see they have an update to nx2.

The problem is when i install nx on my imac; 21.5 inch, 2011 model
i try to enter the product key # and it claims it is invalid (however i did when purchase this).

I do have it on another computer i was using; windows.

If the problem is that nikon does not allow you to install it on 2 computers, is there any method to get around this?

Otherwise i have to spend $200.00 instead of approx: $100.00 for the update.
