Nikon D60 won't upload pictures onto MAC OS X 10.6.2?

Won't recognize it when i connect both sources.

in my documents it realized that it was uploading something but put the photos into a text file (ipmeta)

How would i convert this into my iPhoto Gallery?

i figured it out!

I have had this problem for EVER with my Nikon D60 and MacBook Pro. Answer!

1. Turn on the camera.
2. Plug the USB into the camera.
3. Plug in the USB into the computer.

Works every time.
