I just picked up a Duracell 15 minute NiMH charger from Target to use with my new digital camera. So far, it works better than advertised, fully charging the 4 AAs that came with it in under 10 minutes.

I also want to pick up some AAAs to use with this. Can I use any rechargable NiMH batteries with this, or do I need special Duracell batteries to use in the quick charger thingy? Thanks

I dont have that exact charger, but one I do have will charge AAs and AAAs but I have never tried another brand in it. Did the charger come with an info sheet with any usage guidelines or something similar? That'd be the best place to check.

The instructions say to use Duracell batteries only, but I question that, because I've had overnight NiMH chargers in the past tell you to use only their brand and I've used other brands fine. Sounds like a marketing thing. I'm just wondering if the quick charger actually requires special batteries since it takes 15 minutes, not 12 hours to charge.
