I'll give it a shot; I didn't get far into NG1 on the Xbox due to quickly mounting frustration, but (again) I'll give NG2 a shot.

NG2 looks really really heavy on the action; I just read a TGS preshow report from a MS show and Anoop said "The gameplay is so fast that it's hard to watch. Hard to keep up with. Lots of blood. Bodies getting chopped in half. Ryu pins enemis on the ground, thrusts his sword in, and they explode!"

I'm hoping someone (shortly) puts up a vid of the press conference with Itagaki showing the game off because the teaser doesn't show much of anything at all.

The still pictures of the game look great...I can't imagine how hectic and fast-paced it will be to actually play it and see it moving.

This will (assuming it's a good game) be a huge step forward for the 360 in Japan. Not into the series myself. GG indeed!

Neither. They are one on one fighters in a basically 2D plane (even though Tekken is 3D models, you are still locked to a basic 2D plane)

No.

You have weapon(s) and you go around killing everything that moves.

Heavy on action with a little adventure/exploration and maybe a simple puzzle to solve here or there.

Think: old school beat em up (like Final Fight, Streets of Rage, DJ Boy, the TMNT/Simpsons/X-Men arcade games), but in 3D, lots of weapons, more enemies and more bosses.

MS stepping up that money game and "publishing" this game huh.....once the game is good I'm all down for it.

Ryo looks fully equip this time around with claws n stuffs.

If you like the DMC/GOW series this will be right up your alley...which I'm into except DMC.

The old games are much better than the new ones. NG1 and 3 are my faves, or Shadow Warrior as it was called here.

Eh. Someone said the same thing about Blue Dragon. Haven't seen an impact their yet. They may go from .3% to 1%, but I doubt the Japanese are even going to pay attention to this game. Sony and Nintendo have got their home country under their thumbs, no matter what Microsoft releases, hell Japan is pro-Apple for crying out loud!
