nMP - Wi-Fi: No hardware installed

Not that I am using the WiFi on my nMP, but noticed the WiFi logo with an X in the middle. Clicking on it says that "Wi-Fi: No hardware installed" message.

Are there any diagnostic steps to take to see what the problem is?

Return it to Apple ASAP, wifi module is std, if no module or cannot detect it is matter of Apple warranty, if it can't detect, maybe sign of motherboard issue
