nMP spec: 8-core/16GB RAM/1TB SSD/D700
Display setup: 2 x 27" Thunderbolt displays daisy-chained via thunderbolt bus 1 on Port 1. No other peripherals connected via TB or USB.
OS: 10.9.2 with all softwares updated.
Keyboard and mouse: wireless keyboard and wireless mouse.
Symptom: when my nMP is asleep for a substantial amount of time (>30 mins), waking the nMP will cause only the primary display to turn on. The system will take circa 7-10 seconds before the second TB display turns on. Connecting to different TB busses doesn't resolve the problem.
If the nMP is allowed to sleep for a longer period of duration ie, 2 hours or more, waking the nMP doesn't even turn on any of the displays. The nMP is definitely awake as if you press the volume buttons on the wireless keyboards, you can hear the volume sound from the nMP. Further pressing of the keyboard may or may not wake the displays, of which the most progressive result will only turn on 1 display with all application windows gathered around that particular screen. The secondary display will not turn on unless system is restarted.
Under the "Energy" tab in System Preference, I have the 1st, 2nd and the Power Nap options turned on. Playing around with these energy options did not change the inevitable outcome.
Anyone has similar issue?
