I suppose that it seems reasonable, but it is really not conclusive.

I don't know if this promotion says it or not, but other Apple promos say that dates are subject to change without notice. They ended the Double Your RAM promo for G4's at the end of last year 3 days before the posted date. They may figure that it will take until July to get rid of the G4's, or they may just end the promo earlier.

it not more or less conclusive than any of the rumors floating around..... I don't think it means anything because how would the price of macromedia products effect 10.3 or 970..and the rebate could apply to any new macs too.

if you look on the box, you can see a black OS X logo. i think that's the panther logo?

I think that Black would be an awesome color for pather. I personally do not believe that we will see any 970 based systems til next year, although it would be nice to have them sooner...as in this year...
