Southern utah, haven't been able to get any 3g for the last day and a half, on 2 iphones. One is from launch day, one is new today.

What is up with that? Can a whole city lose it's 3g in an outage, but not voice or edge? Been all around the county, same thing.

What about non-iPhone, 3G handsets? Are they getting 3G?

And yes, a 3G network can go down with the 2G network still operating. Happens all the time. They are different systems.

S. Utah out

I'm in S. Utah and just got my 3G from Best Buy this afternoon. I have not been able to get on 3G at all since I opened it. It just goes to No Service.
My friend's 3G was acting up on Friday ... had to turn 3G off to make/receive calls.

Same experience here. Got an iphone this morning at bb, and had mine from launch day as well. Ive been getting "call failed" repeatedly since friday, and have not seen any 3g yet today on the 2 phones.

Must be a problem now.
