Guys,

My MacBook (Early 2008) is not showing an AirDrop icon in the Finder sidebar and in the preferences. My Lion build is 11A511. Is anyone experiencing the same problem?

P.S. Does it help that it's white? :D

AirDrop supports the following Mac models:

MacBook Pro (Late 2008 or newer)
MacBook Air (Late 2010 or newer)
MacBook (Late 2008 or newer)
iMac (Early 2009 or newer)
Mac mini (Mid 2010 or newer)
Mac Pro (Early 2009 with AirPort Extreme card, or Mid 2010)

Do you know what the necessary wireless card is then?

I have a Hackintosh, but I use a Apple Airport card model number BCM94321MC. I think it is the same as found in 2007 macbooks, so it will probably not work. Does anyone know the model numbers of the cards that are required?
