No AirPlay button in video player with iOS 5 on iPad 1?

Ever since I upgraded my original iPad to iOS 5, the AirPlay button in the video player is missing. In the YouTube app, in Safari, in the Videos app. None of them allow me to AirPlay my videos to the Apple TV.

What's going on? I've tried to restore to no avail.

I too have this issue. The option comes back if I open a pod cast or I suppose if I watched an iTunes purchased movie. But for some reason it disappears when I play a movie and reappears after I watch a pod cast. Latest ATV running the most up to date software and my iPad (1st gen) is running iOS 5.
