No AirPort bars but still getting internet...

So, seemingly ever since I re-installed 10.7.2 via Combo Update to solve a keyboard/trackpad delay I was having, I've noticed a little glitch with AirPort. I've got a constant internet connection, but it occasionally I notice that the AirPort menu icon has no bars but I'm still connected. Restarting/going into sleep mode then waking up will get me full bars again, but I check a little while later and it's back to no bars but everything still works well. Anyone else encountering this bug?
