Well, I have a Mac OS X version 10.6.8, and everything was working completely fine until my Internet stopped working so I checked what was going on and it states that I have no airport installed...And coincidentally, a day ago, one side of my hinges broke but everything was fine until today and I don't know If that involves with the issue. Help? Please?

If the antenna for the card is in the lid,
And the hinge broke
And the antenna cable got stretched, stressed.
The airport card could be yanked out of place, shorted, etc.

You could check ifixit.com for breakout manual for your mac and see if it
looks like something you could resolve yourself.

Otherwise it sounds like Apple for parts and service.

Thank you for replying! Oh I understand, well, since I am not very smart with electronics...is there another solution, like maybe restarting or rebooting something?
