No Airport then fans rev (MBP 2010)

Well I've been randomly experiencing a problem where I loose my internet and the fans rev at 6000rpm and then I turn off Airport and turn it back on and it doesn't come back on. Restart and says I have no Airport card installed. I shutdown and let it sit for a few seconds and start it back up and it's fine.

Anyone else experience this? Guess I'll be visiting the Apple store soon.

Turn off the computer, Turn it on and while its starting hold "D" and do a hardware test, then post result here.

OK gonna do that now. I'm out of town right now so when I get back in, I'm taking it to the Apple store now. It just done it 3 times in the last hour and I have no idea when it's gonna do it again. It's been running for 15 minutes now with no problems(knock on wood).

Holding D doesn't do anything.

Holding D at startup should have brought up a hardware test, it takes a while to load.

mine did not do anything while holding down d it took it awhile but it went to my login

Sorry it seems you may need to have the cd in first. Mine worked without the cd in...must be a 2010 mbp thing
