Good news is I got to sleep in this morning. Bad news is the alarm didn't go off. When I called my boss to tell him I was going to be late, he could hear me but I couldn't hear him.

It seems to be working now, but I want to know if anyone else has experienced this. Should I take it in? Should I see if the problem repeats itself (risking not being able to use my phone when I really need it)?

Let me know your thoughts.

But, damn, I feel well rested right now.

it could be possible that your phone still thought you had headphones in. a good solution is to put headphones in then take them out. you can tell if it is working by playing a ringtone or music from the ipod. if you hear it from the external speaker then you are all set. this happens when dust gets in the headphone port and then it registers as headphones plugged in. like i said just put headphones in and take them out to try and get it to register or blow into the headphone port to clear stuff out

I had this, it thought the headphones were still in, i rebooted and was fine
