No amounts or notifications for debit cards?

When using a debit card, I don't get the same notification I do when using credit. Is this normal? Same with both Wells Fargo and Bank of America Debit.

But with a credit card in passbook it shows the amount spent and everything.

Mine is also the same way. Thats pretty dumb if you can't even see your purchases on your debit. Especially since that is the card I use most.

I have BoA debt card and it shows all my purchases, amounts, time and location all in passbook under my card logo. It's the only card I have set up.
