No attributes in Spotlight's "Other..." menu?

I'm trying to figure out how to do advanced/raw queries with Spotlight, but when I try to use the "Other..." menu in a Spotlight query, this is all I get:

Surely that can't be right, can it?

I can't see your screenshot but from your post I am assuming the there is nothing listed when you choose "Other..."

I am having the very same problem and would be interested in a solution.
