So recently I installed windows 7 via bootcamp. Everything's working like a charm besides the audio. The problem is - I have no sound whatsoever. I've installed the realtek drivers and was trying to install the sigmatel ones from the mac osx disk but I keep getting this error : _ExitError: Error=Device Object not present, restart the system and run setup again.

Running W7 ultimate 64bit on Macbook pro 5.5 13''.

Any ideas how to fix this?

DO NOT install any further drivers before installing and updating bootcamp. I have really bad experience with this. Try reinstalling Win and dont do updates (well I did, but only three critical security updates)... Then install bootcamp, update bootcamp, then you may go on installing updates...

Try, may help ;)...

perhaps ?

i had this problem with vista turns out u need to have service pack 1 installed .:D
