Hi,

We have Windows 10 installed on a Late 2015 iMac 27" i7. Windows seems to work as it should EXCEPT there's no audio out of speakers or the headphone jack. Tried doing a search for Windows audio drivers on Apple's Support / Downloads page but didn't come up with anything obvious.

I realize this may not be all the info someone might need to help so if no one has an obvious answer I'm happy to try and provide any additional specs / versions whatever might be needed to help diagnose.

Thanks in advance!

Is you're audio run through bluetooth...if so you will need to go to activate it if you done a recent windows update. Along with updating your audio drivers also.

I performed a direct UEFI installation of win10 on a secondary SSD (formerly ODD) for my imac 2011. Bootcamp assistant install for secondary drive wasn't available oddly. The install worked for the most part where either towards the end of the install, or after login I would encounter some unusual technical problems.

These were as follows:
  1. Delayed Blackscreen (~30sec) prior to login screen - absent in SafeMode. I'm not quite sure the reasons.
  2. BSOD with Windows stop code igdkmd64.sys - persistent HD Graphics driver install overcome by disabling, and renaming the filename in SafeMode. Very likely overcome with a Bootcamped install.
  3. No internal audio which I attributed to installation method - reportedly you have to use a BIOS emulation only found by using a DVD install.
Any suggestions how to avoid #1 and stop #2 from being installed?
