I'm in the process of ordering a new macbook, and found this little nugget of information that seems to have been left out of the keynote. Scroll to the middle column under "Input". http://www.apple.com/macbook/specs.html

It says the illuminated keyboard is only available on the 2.4 ghz model. At the same time, when I put one of the 2.0 ghz models in the shopping cart, it says very clearly that it includes a backlit keyboard.

Did I just miss that part of the keynote? And what is up with the contradiction between the store page and the shopping cart?

Yeah a few people have noted it already, I think its an error that Apple made. Thats probably the reason that the Apple store is down right now and being updated again

sorry, someone posted about the same question at the same time I was posting this...
