iPod touch No Backup Folder in Finder

I have read other threads that say that you can move backups by putting them in the backups folder at Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Mobile Sync
But when I go in the application support folder there is not a mobile sync folder. Does anybody know why it's not there?

Wrong library...look under /Users/<user_ID>/Library/Application Support.
