No badge count for Reminders App anymore!...

My Reminders App doesn't show a badge on the App icon anymore. The only way it does is, when I restart the device or if I add a new reminder, then it shows the badge for unaccomplished tasks from the past.

Does anyone have a solution because otherwise there is no use in the App for me anymore...

This has been an inconsistency for many since iOS 7 if not even iOS 6 days unfortunately.

I only see notifications once reminders are past due.

That's mostly the case, although it can even take a little while after they are past due for them to appear.
