no batteries available error

Hello,

One of my friends has a MacBook Pro 2011 ,

about 2 days ago he has a serious issue with his macbook battery ...

there is a error called "no batteries available" ...

I searched a lot for him ....

so many said that he should reset the SMC ... but no one of their tutorials worked on his macbook ...

Since we are on a work trip and we cant take his macbook to a authorized Apple support center ... it would be great if someone help ...

If he's still getting the error after resetting the SMC, the only thing left to do is to take it to Apple.

When I follow the SMC reset instruction , after the last step .. the mec reboots one after another ... and never boot up ... and I have to press and hold the button for some seconds to turn it off manually.

do you have any idea about this issue ?
