I just got my iPhone 15 pro and out of the box and ready to setup I find it has no battery charge at all. I need to charge it up to at least 20% to begin data transfer from my old phone. What’s surprising is that the phone isn’t at least 50% charged out the box. Anyone else have the same experience?

I hope this isn’t a red flag for some battery issue I’m going to have to deal with with this phone.

It likely got put into the box turned on, and drained before purchase. Rare, but it happens.

Mmm not an expert here but once i bought an iphone 8 brand new, it was DOA the battery never charged, i could return it and get another this time with 67% battery brand new, the battery life on the phone was always bad, now its obsolete.

I'll return it if i were you.

Some peeps are complaining about battery life on their brand new pros/max even when the phone is off....thats a hardware issue with batteries (i dont need to be Einstein).
