No Battery Warning Pop-up anymore. Help.

Hello,

Every time my battery starts getting low, I would get a pop-up message that my battery is low. However, for the last 2 weeks I do not get this message anymore! I do not like this because the battery indicator on the main toolbar will say that I have approx. 20-30 mins left of battery life, and then my computer will just shut down 2-5 mins afterwards.

Any help would be great.

check to see if your battery qualifies for any recalls, this sounds exactly like what happened to my battery, which was replaced under a recall.

Its a MacBook btw.

Where do I find this battery recall information?

My wife's MacBook battery had a similar problem. I took it to the local Apple store and they exchanged the batter for a new one. Problem solved
