It happened 2 times intermittently. Once when iMac was put to sleep, then tried to wake up. The other time iMac went to sleep from non use. In both cases computer had to be restarted to get back use of mouse, magic pad and keyboard. I connected my iPhone to iMac and got it to sync while it slept. Anyone else have the problem?

have you tried resetting PRAM? or the SMC? google these things if...for your specific mac.
