Bootcamped my UBMB - Win 7 x64 installed, and booted up fine

However, when I run the setup.exe on my SL disk - I get two options, Remote Install OS X - and DVD or CD SHaring. NOT - install Bootcamp Drivers

If I go into the Boot Camp folder on the disk and run setup - I get 'Boot Camp x64 is unsupported on this computer model' whic is quite clearly a pile of horse crap.

If I run the 3.1 update manually, I get nothing - nothing occurs at all.

Any ideas?

My bad - found the answer here - https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/632609/

That is easy to fix: Manually navigate to the sub folder where the x64 installer is located and launch the installation from there. I had the same issue with Vista 64 on my Mac Pro 1,1 and this workaround did the trick. It's yet another one of those artificial limitations that Apple implements to make us buy new hardware. And it works. The only problem for Apple is that they convinced me to buy my next hardware from their competition.
