No call audio for one particular contact

Did a bit of searching, didn't find much. I have one particular contact (my boss as it happens) where if:

He calles me, I answer but there's no audio sent or recieved.
I call him, goes stright to voicemail with no ring.

All other calls work fine for both of us. No bluetooth devices, speakerphone or call volume at fault here.

When you call him he likely has Do Not Disturb turned on. That explains why you go straight to voicemail.

When he calls you, do you have any connected bluetooth devices nearby. Make sure you select the appropriate audio output from the popup menu.

Definitely no Bluetooth devices connected here. No problem with calls to other people.
