No camera sound while paired with the watch?

anyone else notice that my phone does not make the usual sound when taking a picture since having my phone paired to the watch. Sometimes it will make the sound on the second image but never the first.

My iPhone does that too, and I don't even have an Apple Watch yet. 8.x bug imo.

I noticed that at the weekend when taking some photos. It's definitely a new development for me, don't think I've done any software updates since the previous time I used my camera.
