iPod touch No Camera?

I vaguely remember a while back hearing that due to privacy laws in some counties that there were iPod touch models made for those countries with no camera.
I work in a facility where I can not have anything with a camera or a cellular transmitter and the 2nd gen touch I have now is getting a bit long in the tooth.
If anyone knows this is made somewhere any idea how to get it in the US?

There is no such thing as iPod touches without camera in different countries. You can always get an iPod with restrictions on the camera though.

Are you thinking of the iPod touch Apple announced at the end of May that has no rear-facing camera?

Apple reveals 16GB iPod touch with no rear-facing camera

Still has a front-facing camera though. :/

That's not what I was referring to, it was something that I remember reading before that announcement- that's what actually made me think about it again.
