I was burning a CD-R when I noticed that the progress seemed to be completely stalled at around the halfway point. I couldn't do anything to stop the burn, so finally I had to hard-shutdown my Mini. Upon reboot, the CD that's still in there doesn't appear as an icon on the desktop or in the Finder, so I don't know how to eject it.

How do I get this CD out of the Mini? Thanks in advance for your help.:)

I should think you've already tried the eject key?

If so, and it didn't work, hold down the mouse button and reboot, your mac should spit out the CD before Mac OS loads :)

Bah, not quite quick enough :D

the DVD EJECT BUTTON IS HERE

I eventually found the eject button on my Mac keyboard. It is the top right hand side. It worked for me with the same problem as described.

It might be because it's late, but I can't stop laughing at this thread revival.
