Hi, I just deleted everything off my HD and reinstalled OS 9.2.2. Everything seemed to have gone fine but now there is no cd player controls available. If I insert a cd it will autoplay but there is no way to stop it or forward tracks. I did a search in Sherlock for "CD Player" and it finds nothing.
So my questions are, does anyone know how I can reinstall the CD player software? I only have the OS 9 install disc and not the software restore/install cd's as I have lost them. Is there anywhere to get the files I need from the internet?

It's not in the "Applications (OS 9)" folder or "Apple Extras" folder? I'm pretty sure it installs by default into one of those folders. Do a search for "Apple Extras" and see if it turns up. If not, just install iTunes. You can still get it off Apple's website for OS 9, and it will support CD functions. It's actually supposed to be CD Player's replacement.
