This is just an open question, I'm just polling for answers here.

I've been taking a lot of calls today from iPhone 3G and 3GS users who have been losing their Cellular Data Network. When I take them into the menu to reset the data settings, there is no option for Cellular Data Network, so we cannot change the settings.

At present, I'm advising customer's to either restore the phone or visit an Apple store, I'm just wondering if this is a widespread issue or not.

My brother was having this issue, as we gave him a used 3GS. We fixed by making sure the IMEI number was changed on his line to match the new phone. Data popped in instantly after the change was done. Could be some second hand 3G or 3GS users who received the phone after someone else upgraded.

I lost all signal today while I was in the Peachtree Center MARTA station (subway). Maybe I'll send this to Gawker and they can write another sensationalized story about iPhone 4 reception issues.:D
