I got yesterday my brand new macbook air M1 gpu-8 16 gb ram 512 ssd and I am wondering if there's and where a light confirming the laptop is charging, since I couldn't find any. I will leave it under charge all night (battery is set 10% after two days) and disconnect tomorrow morning but would be nice to get a red/green light. Anything like this?

Not that I'm aware of. Ever since they ditched MagSafe there's been no charging light on the charger itself, and before that they got rid of the on-device battery light with the Retina MacBook Pros.

Thanks for your quick reply. It is my first mac so I did not know that.
