Has anyone else submitted there order and not received an email?

They have charged my account and i have a reference but they still haven't emailed me!

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Same thing here.

Ordered Black 16GB at 8:25 this morning still no confirmation email. I have just spoke to them though and they assured me my order has gone through fine I have an order number anyhow.

oh rite, yeah I have a order number, well if they said its fine, then thats cool, I still may give them a ring, did you ring the number where they gave you a order number?

Yeah I did I rung 0870 600 3009

Is your order number in the format xx-999999999

Where x represents a letter and 9 a digit?

No email here either, and I'm new customer.

It went through without a single error message (I had no idea that people were having problems until I came here) at about 9:30 this morning, but nothing since then. I'll leave it until tomorrow and give them a ring if there's still nothing.

Now I can't even get the O2 site to load now, so it must just be getting hammered.

Oh for goodness sake people, is it really that hard to understand how these systems work?

If you have an order number it means that your information is in the database and the charge has been made to your payment card. Due to high demand, the emails might not arrive instantly, but give it time and it will arrive.

Again, if you have an order number your order is safe. Don't be a blatant pest by phoning them up asking whether it's going to arrive or not.

Well I am sorry ;)

Very succinct and I think very correct!

I will phone them on Wednesday if need be - I will want to cancel the online order so I can go get one in store on Friday. Don't forget it's one per person so if you don't cancell the online order they will refuse you one in-store on Friday!

I dont know if you can cancel as you have already accepted the contract..

I haven't had a confirmation email either. Not just that but my online tracking has never worked. It just brings up a white screen.

I phoned them up though and they say the order looks fine for Friday.

Ring up O2 - say I would like to cancel it, cancel it, job done. I'd get in now, whilst it's relatively quiet.

Just a thought fellas, but if you keep ordering and cancelling and ordering elsewhere, they will probably keep running credit checks.

You should be careful that you don't end up failing them because you've had too many searches within a short period.

Very true!

On the other hand .......

I have an order number, logged on to O2 this morning, checked order status ..... CANCELLED

So an order number does not mean that you will get a phone.

How did you get to the status page? I keep getting a redirect to the 'sign in confirmation page'

Having still not gotten one email from O2 I eventually gave in and called them. The guy I spoke to was really nice but gave me the standard speech saying they will be in touch by email or text in the next 24hrs. He also said that they are hoping to update the order status today on My O2.

He then checked my order number for me and said that I was one of the lucky ones(yey!) and my pretty new 16gb will be with me on Friday...now my only problem is getting the day off work!

I hope others are as lucky - I'm not gloating, I just wanted to post a wee success story.

yes well when I phoned yesterday, having had no emails, they said I was lucky I ordered the phone before it was out of stock and it would be with me this friday which is good :D

I signed in, went to track orders, got the My O2 page, clicked on the home tab at the top, clicked on track orders again, then click on the track orders icon. At this point it actually took me to the tracking page.

Worked for me...might be worth a try?
