sooo apple says no contact delivery? does that mean I dont have to be present to sign if I miss there knock at the door? I usually pick it up at ups but since im home all day this year I figured I could just get it at home but sometimes they dont know loud enough so im wondering if with no contact they will just leave it.

When my wife’s iPhone 12 showed up via UPS, we happened to be pulling in the driveway at the same time. The driver just handed me the package and did not ask for a signature. That isn’t usually the norm.

A couple months ago when I ordered a new MBA, which was delivered by UPS. I came home to find not just 1, but TWO attempted delivery notices on the door. Luckily I made it to the pickup station before they closed so I was able to get it that night.

what is no contact delivery the lol

When my iPhone 12 Pro was delivered from Apple I found it in my box I have for deliveries. They just left it - no problems. I do live in a very rural area so someone stealing my deliveries would require they drive up my driveway and actually look in the box. I am not sure how happy I would be if deliveries could be seen from the street and potentially get stollen.

My UPS driver told me when my 12 pro’s were delivered that he just needed to verify the package would make it in the house and that no one is allowed to touch their device they normally have you sign on.
