I don't understand the question..

The use is to have dynamic wallpapers. They don't have to be customized to look good or to be useful..

As of now, there is no way to create or add your own. So either use the default ones, or don't use a dynamic wallpaper.

Also, I'd love to see a way of adding live wallpapers to iOS 7. I wonder if they'll open it up or at least add more than the existing two. I don't see it being a difficult thing to add.

There is no way as of now for developers to create or add any new dynamic wallpapers.

And I believe the post you quoted wants that..sounds like he knows there are some dynamic wallpapers included, they just want to be able to create and add more.

There's actually 6 in the iPod touch, and 7 on the (RED) iPod touch, the wallpapers vary by product line for each iOS this time it seems...even the static wallpapers with the colors are different. (While the iPad doesn't get them at all)

How is asking for custom dynamic wallpapers open source? Currently can you not set static wallpapers other than the ones that come on the device? I don't see how requesting to add custom dynamic one is such a far request than that...

It would be nice to have the ability to tint the dynamic wallpapers in a custom color. There's no orange dynamic wallpaper so I'm stuck with my static orange wallpaper, which is fine, but would be cool to have dynamic.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. It's not THAT much of a customization, and certainly no different than the way iOS has always worked.

Depends on who you talk to. In the manufacturing world, if these dynamic wallpapers were parts, it would be one part with 7 revs.
