No dedicated GPU outside Intel?

So I'm looking to get more portable and trade my iMac for an rMBP, but Apple's game is that these no longer come with dedicated GPU's. Is Intel Iris good enough?

The highest end rMBP does come with nVidia. Iris Pro is plenty good enough unless you're planning to play super high frame rate games. It really is in a whole different ballpark than any other iGPU and performs on a par with the GrForce 650m.
