I've read about the standby delays and all, and frankly I'm quite clueless as to what it does to performance if I start changing numbers in "pmset -g". All I really want is for the computer to instantly respond when I open the lid. As of now I'm experiencing a 5-10 second delay when opening the lid. What setting do I change?
Overall I'm satisfied with hibernation and battery saving and all, but I'd really like to make the computer respond instantaneously. Is it a hazardous setting that Apple does not want you to change, or just a "go ahead"?

Thanks
