I had my my Series 8 45mm, 10.0.1, on charger. Pulled it off, and there is no display. However, when I rotate my wrist up, there is the blue outer ring that glows for a second. Of course, since there is no display, I could not unlock. I had to figure how to do that with my phone. Still no display. With it unlocked, pushing the side button gives the usual options. However, from there if I select the flashlight, it is dark. If I push and hold down the digital crown, the microphone icon shows, sometimes on the right side, other times in the center. I have tried switching the faces with my phone. Still no display. From phone put on maximum brightness. No luck. Then all of a sudden it was showing digital time next to the digital crown after turning my wrist.

Something just came through on watch, and the Dismiss with Double Pinch appeared as normal.

Thanks for any assistance,
Jeff

This has happened to me a few times, my watch (Series 5) will just randomly shut off the display even though touch sensitivity is still working, Siri is still working, and so on. Asking Siri to turn up display brightness will give an error. The only way to fix it is fumble through the menus and restart it (luckily I know where the button should be on the screen so I can activate it). Restarting always fixes it for me.
