No drawing tools (or any tools) other than typing in Notes app

Not sure if this is an iPhone X issue, an iOS issue, or a Notes issue, but for some reason my Apple Notes app on my iPhone X has no tools (drawing, photos, checklists, etc). All I have is the keyboard. Additionally, my girlfriend sent me a note that she created with only handwriting and it was completely blank when I viewed it on my phone, so I assume these issues are related.

I'm running iOS 11.4. Attached is a screenshot of my Notes app showing that there are no tools available.

Any ideas?

Thank you! I totally forgot you could delete stock apps now. I did just that and it now works.

Strange bug, but simple fix. Thanks for your quick reply!
