I am a neophyte in this place, I need help. I want build my daughter her own recording studio, which means I will be buying her a new MBP. I have M-Audio profire 610. I realized that the new MBP don't have firewire anymore. But I'd like to use my M-Audio profire 610 interface, What can I do?

They still have FireWire. It isn't the more common FireWire 400, but the faster FireWire 800. There are adapters to convert between the two. They are fairly cheap.
