I am looking into buying a new apple laptop later this year, and see that the new macbooks (beautiful machines!) do not have a firewire port... should I be worried about this? I would love to get the unibody macbook, but the white, $1000 version has a firewire... any suggestions? I would be using this firewire mostly for info transfer...

Search.

If you need firewire then the unibody macbooks are not an option for you, that's it.

You'll have to get either the white MB or an MBP.
