I hit 250 posts and been here 1.5 years and still do not see the forsale forums. Any ideas?

Takes a little while for the servers to catch up to you
You just hit 250 and this was 251

Read the FAQ and the Forum Rules:
Once you reach 100 or 250 posts, you may not immediately be able to post in these forums. The privilege is added automatically when the forum system does routine processing, so check again in a few hours. The delay is normal, so please do not contact us to report it as a problem on the same day that you reach 100 or 250 posts. When you first gain access to the Marketplace forum, you will see it in the Community section of the forums.

I had no idea there were such forums!

I lurk mostly and don't post often. I would love to lurk in the for sale forums. Since I don't post often, I could use some advice on how to get my post count above 250 without looking like a jerk. Any advice?

Wow, I am amazed that some of my posts got deleted for no reason.

It's a conspiracy. Really. It's totally personal too. I swear.

OTOH, threads are always being waste-landed and such ... it happens. Best to aim for 260.

Ive only been here 2 months...

I know how to access it, but what does it do?

You can stalk or spy what is going on on MacRumors: Forums.

If you have loaded Forum Spy, you see every post made since you loaded Forum Spy and can keep track of it and even your own subscriptions.

EDIT:

Shows new posts in real time.

With your post count, you should have at least read the forum rules and FAQ by now.

I knew it, as soon as I wrote "If you have loaded Forum Spy", GGJStudios and someone else would post before I could do it, and they posted a much simpler answer.

:D strange déjà vu.

^^^^^^
Which is why I didn’t bother! :p

I guess he hasn’t. Wow!

@liamkp: Just some advice, but you might want to step back and read through the FAQ and Forum Rules and the links therein like this one, which gives you a bunch of stuff to read. You’ll be better for it, and it’ll keep you from asking questions like this.
