No Gold Band?

I cannot wear leather bands on a watch. They just aren't very compatible with my skin. Seems weird there is no metal or gold band for the Apple Watch Edition. I would like an elegant gold watch with an elegant gold band. But apparently Apple doesn't feel that way.

Of course, it's probably not a good idea to be spending extra for gold on a 'tech product' that will be out of date in 12-18 months.

The bands that Apple has shown will be a decent start. The third party market for bands is going to be insanely large (think iPhone cases). Everyone will have their needs met in one way or another.
