Parallels requires an x86 (intel) instruction set and will not run on Mac with M1 chips.
I use it to run x86 apps in Win 11 on my Studio with M1 Ultra. Works great.Parallels requires an x86 (intel) instruction set and will not run on Mac with M1 chips.
Installed Parallels yesterday to try running a game on it and I get the error message saying no GPU is found. Seems Parallels use their own drivers etc. Anyone has this issue on the Studio?
Diablo 4, just had beta invite! What game is it? Check out Applegamingwiki to see if it's listed and tested.
Parallels doesn't emulate a discrete GPU, you're out of luck if the game requires it.Installed Parallels yesterday to try running a game on it and I get the error message saying no GPU is found. Seems Parallels use their own drivers etc. Anyone has this issue on the Studio?
I believe the beta requires a DirectX 12 GPU, which is not what gets virtualized in Parallels. Game performance would likely be terrible even if there were a virtual DX12 GPU.Installed Parallels yesterday to try running a game on it and I get the error message saying no GPU is found. Any update on this? It is so sad that the blizzard monkeys decided to not support Diablo randomly.. especially when there is a growing base of Mac customers and better graphicsDiablo 4, just had beta invite!
